Max Von Sydow who played the three-eyed raven in the HBO hit show, Game Of Thrones passed away at the age of 90 in France. His wife Catherine von Sydow, confirmed in a statement, however, the cause of death has not yet been revealed. Rest in peace Mr Sydow

Game Of Thrones' Three-Eyed Raven Max Von Sydow Passes Away At The Age Of 90
In the HBO hit show, Game Of Thrones, Max Von Sydow played the enigmatic three-eyed raven. For those who don’t remember the character from the show, Max comes in the series in the sixth season of GoT where the Three-Eyed Raven narrates the history of "Children of the Forest vs. the First Men" to Bran Stark who was seen crippled in the show. The show moves forward when due to his character who gave the viewers a base to White Walkers existence. He played an important role for a few episodes but was later killed in the show. Max did create an impact with his character but much to our dismay the actor breathed his last on women’s day 2020.

 At the age of 90, the actor passed away in France. “It’s with a broken heart and with infinite sadness that we have the extreme pain of announcing the departure of Max von Sydow on March 8, 2020,” his wife Catherine von Sydow confirmed this news in a statement in TV line, however, the cause of death has not yet been revealed yet. Max von Sydow was nominated for the Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Television Series for his performance. Apart from Game Of Thrones, the actor starred in many iconic films and all of his characters are now only in our memories.

Von Sydow made his Hollywood debut in the 1965 film The Greatest Story Ever Told where he played the role of Jesus in the film, nevertheless, he gained widespread international fame in William Friedkin’s controversial 1973 film The Exorcist where he was seen playing the devil-evicting priest.
